Why we created Kear
Kear didn't start as a business idea. It started as a need for skincare products that are honest, functional, and free from empty promises.
As a team — and as women — we were looking for a different approach to care: simpler, more human, and more conscious.
How we work
We work through dialogue, collaboration, and attention at every stage — from the first idea to the final product.
We take our time and refine every choice, without rushing and without compromising on what matters.
Our goal is to create products we would choose for ourselves before recommending them to anyone else.

Ypatia
Founder of Kear and the driving force behind the brand
Her relationship with skincare began from personal need. Living with particularly sensitive skin led her to seek gentle, clean, and meaningful solutions. Through years of experience in environmental education programmes for schoolchildren, she developed a deep understanding of sustainability, ethical production, and collective responsibility. Her love for Greek history and nature became the foundation on which Kear was built.
Dora
Strategic thinking & development
With over thirty years of professional experience in the technology sector, Dora has contributed to building and growing international brands, combining vision with practical application. Her collaboration with Ypatia is grounded in shared values, trust, and a long personal friendship. At Kear, her contribution focuses on sustainable brand development — always with respect for the philosophy, the natural pace, and the essence of what Kear is.
Renée
Holistic approach & wellbeing
A Reiki healer with studies in Thailand, Renée connects outer skincare with inner balance. Her presence reinforces Kear's philosophy around wellbeing, harmony, and conscious self-care — going beyond the surface of the skin.
