The Kear Story
Kear doesn’t draw inspiration from ancient Greek skincare. It returns to it.
It all begun with a simple observation: ancient Greek cosmetic formulas — built on plant oils, natural waxes, and botanical extracts — were anhydrous by nature. Not by design, not by trend. That’s just what they were. No one had connected those ancient practices to what we now call waterless skincare. We did.
Our name says it all: "κέᾰρ", the ancient Greek word for heart. Because everything we make starts there — with intention, with care, and with deep respect for your skin and the world around it.

Why Kear
At the heart of Kear is a belief: skincare doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective — and the best knowledge about skin isn’t new. We translate documented ancient Greek practices into modern formulas: not as an aesthetic reference, but as a formulation choice.

Ancient Greece is not an aesthetic reference. It is the source.
The core of ancient Greek cosmetic practice was built on oils and waxes. Concentrated, clean, without dilution. That wasn’t accidental. It was an understanding of how skin actually works and what it actually needs.
Kear isn’t inspired by that knowledge. It is built from it. The philosophy of balance, measure and respect for the body and nature guides every choice we make. From ingredients to packaging.

Substance Over Excess
Why waterless? Because that’s how it was done in ancient Greece — and because that’s how skin performs best.
We design products with few, clean ingredients and concentrated formulas. Their multipurpose logic reduces the steps of your daily routine without sacrificing effectiveness.
Kear products are made locally, in small batches, so quality always comes before quantity.

For Everyone
Kear doesn't design products for specific genders, ages, or stereotypes.
Skincare is personal. It's about every skin.
No exceptions.
