Everything you need to know

How to use

Dedicate 5 minutes to yourself:

  1. Soak 4 cocoons in warm water for 5 minutes until soft.
  2. Slip one onto each finger.
  3. Massage gently in circular motions over face and neck.
  4. Don't discard the water — it's now infused with silk proteins. Use it to rinse your face. The step you didn't expect, and it makes all the difference.
  5. Pat dry and follow with your serum or moisturiser.
  6. Let the cocoons dry — they can be used one more time.

Recommended use: 1–2 times per week.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Our philosophy

Silk cocoons are one of humanity's most ancient beauty rituals. At Kear, we chose them for a simple reason: one natural material, minimal processing, no microplastics, no synthetic materials.
Most silk producers kill the animal with high heat to preserve the cocoon intact. Our producer does something different: they carefully slit the cocoon open at exactly the right moment — before the butterfly releases the enzyme that would destroy it. The cocoon is saved. The butterfly flies. This comes at a higher cost for us. We think it's worth it
